  • Evening is falling over the Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, NJ. The lights in the garden have just come on to illuminate this statue of Christ The King. You can see just a hint of the ground lights in the bottom corner as they cast eerie lights and shadows across the statue.

  • A statue at the Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, NJ. This statue is cutting at the end of a field that is bordered by some woods. I was shooting in the early morning, just after the blue light. I was struck by large cross (X) behind her.

  • This image was shot in the first (blue) light of day. I was struck by the warmth of the statue, the open welcoming arms, contrasted to the cold of the snow. It almost appears that her right hand is pointing to the bench, inviting you to come and visit with her. You can see a couple of trees in the background forming a crude cross in the background.

  • As the song goes...In Dublin fair city, where the girls are so pretty, there lives a young lady named Molly Malone. This statue just sits on a street corner. The leprechaun and lad playing the pipes were fortunate additions. I wonder if she actually peddled her cockles and mussels on that street?

  • I came upon this scene in the Arthur Avenue Retail Market, on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, N.Y. I did a double take when I first saw this little scene. It does look a bit like Mr. Capone. I was equally amused by the tiki torch right ned to him!

  • I was shooting in the early morning at the Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, NJ when I turned around and there was the cat. Obviously, it is not live. I was amused by its position on the bench, the two different colored eyes and the setting in the snow.
