Snow Covered Hive

This is something I was fortunate to come across in winter. It looks like there might have been a lot of wasps living here in the summer. I was taken by the symmetry of the hive as it both blends into the tree yet stands out. The snow on top and the dead leaves around it are wonderful accents.
