The Burren is a unique area of Ireland. There are rocks everywhere and very little fertile soil. The plant life here is different from anywhere else in the country. The stone walls are built with the rectangular shaped stones stacked vertically rather than the horizontal shape we re used to on old walls in the north east. County Clare, Ireland
