Doonagore Castle

Doonagore Castle in Doolan, County Clare, Ireland. We drove up a very steep and windy road to get to the plateau that ends at the Cliffs of Moher. As we ascended, the image of Doonagore got bigger and more prominent. I can only imagine how imposing it must have looked to an enemy trying to storm it.
